A cove at the seaward end of the Coombe Valley, approached down a narrow lane. Duckpool is a place of great atmosphere, heightened by surrounding steep cliffs and wooded valleys.
Come here in summer or winter, on a fine or stormy day and sense the atmosphere and be drawn to contemplate on times long past.
In the summer months, Duckpool is a good place for discovering the varied contents of rock pools.
Swimming cannot be advised as there are strong currents and this beach does not have lifeguard cover.
